Accessibility at Unplug Rentals

We want every guest to be able to make an informed decision about whether our caravans suit their needs. Because we hire fully self-contained caravans placed at remote and often unpowered campgrounds, there are some needs we cannot fully accommodate — significant mobility requirements needing wheelchair access, for example. We’d always rather be honest about this upfront than have a guest discover a limitation on arrival.

There is also a great deal we can do. Our caravans are built for genuine off-grid living, with battery capacity and refrigeration that can support medical equipment such as CPAP machines and refrigerated medication. Our entire service removes the need to tow, set up or pack down, opening remote camping to guests who couldn’t otherwise access it — including older travellers and those flying in. And our booking, bond and handover process is fully written and self-paced, with no phone call required.
